A beautiful 10 minute drive to Taos Wools store and classroom the casita is centrally located in Arroyo Hondo, the Casita will accommodate two people per stay. Short drives to the Taos Pueblo, Taos Ski Valley, the village of Arroyo Seco, the town of Taos, and the Rio Grande National Monument. Hiking, biking, flyfishing, rafting adventures and hot spring excursions are all near by!
Please note that this self guided retreat is for experienced weavers. There will be no instruction provided other than a meet and greet from Joe or Alan, the on-site property caretaker. The Rio Grande Walking Loom is warped and ready for weaving at 4 or 8EPI.
Out of concern for yarn security, no outside yarns allowed. Weft faced yarns are available to purchase at Taos Wools store or online before your arrival. Guests receive a 22% discount on weft faced yarns.
Pets are not allowed although kennel services and other boarding options are available nearby.
