Do not agitate, tumble, swish, knead, rub, wring, stretch, or forcefully run water on wool. Hand washing: In wash tub mix soap or detergent and water, gently submerge item, soak, lift out from underneath, repeat for rinses. Lukewarm water is safest. Use a mild soap or detergent without additives.
